Reviving the golden age of silent movies, Gabriela Montero accompanies Charlie Chaplin’s moving short film The Immigrant on the piano. This talent, which she started developing at the age of three, has become her trademark ability. But it is not her sole gift, as can be appreciated through this recital of Russian music, in which Prokofiev, Rachmaninov and Stravinsky are the guests of honour.
