Don Quichotte (j’étoilerai le vent qui passe) is an adaptation of Jules Massenet’s opera of the same name, first performed in 1910. In this 50-minute version for all audiences, we follow Don Quixote and Sancho on an epic quest to recover Dulcinea’s pearl necklace that has been stolen by bandits.

With only a pianist and a few props as partners, the two men, kings of the imagination and tramps of reality, draw us into powerful emotions and question our relationship to friendship, virility and dreams. A perfect introduction to the world of opera through the prism of imagination, humour and poetry.
