À propos
Leonardo García Alarcón uses his musicality and his sensibility to dramaturgy to serve Monteverdi’s Orfeo, which is considered to be the first opera in history. Although the score is well known, this version features a unique sound thanks to the research of the Argentinian conductor and of his ensemble Cappella Mediterranea. Together, they questioned instrumentation, dynamics and tempi to deliver a clear, natural and most expressive version of the opera.
